The Pirates (23-5, 10-4) defeated the OC Halos 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.
Inland Valley got out to a quick start in the first inning as Greg Espinosa scored on an RBI by Andrew Alvarez to make it 1-0.
The Halos knotted it up at 1-1 in the fourth inning.

The Pirates (20-5, 10-4) defeated the East LA Dodgers 4-0 Tuesday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.
The Pirates (11-3-1, 3-2) toppled the Bucs (3-11, 2-7) 3-1 in Game 1 of the double header Saturday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.
The Inland Valley Pirates (3-0) jumped out to an early start and never looked back in a 10-0 victory against the East L.A. Dodgers Monday night at Banning High School.
