Dodgers Give Pirates the Blues

WILMINGTON, CA – The Pirates (8-9,6-8) needed extra frames for their third consecutive game, but this time, fell short in 12 innings to the East L.A. Dodgers 3-2 on Friday night at Banning High.

Pirates Hand Power First Loss

The Palm Springs POWER hit their first bump in the road Saturday night, falling to the Inland Valley Pirates 7-2 at Palm Springs Stadium.

The POWER (11-1, 3-1) saw the second best start to a season in franchise history end at 11-0. The team began the 2006 season 17-0.
