The Bucs were beaten 9-3 by the So Cal Bombers Wednesday night at Cal Poly Pomona.
Inland Valley jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the second courtesy of a Anthony Walters RBI single.
However, the Bucs defense committed four errors in the first four innings propelling the Bombers to a 4-1 lead.
In the fifth, SoCal’s Cody White hit his 3rd home run of the season to make 6-1 Bombers.
The Bucs cut the deficit to 7-3 in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Jordan Hernandez. However, Inland Valley could get no closer.
The same two teams meet again on Thursday night. 1st Pitch is 7pm at Scolinos Field.
