The Inland Valley Bucs lost 2-0 to the Arroyo Seco Sentinels on Thursday night at Cal Poly Pomona.
It was the second straight game in which the Bucs offense failed to get untracked. Arroyo Seco held Inland Valley to just five hits. On Wednesday, the Bucs eked out a run on seven hits in a 2-1 10 inning loss to the SoCal Bombers.
Bucs right hander Hayden Pearce pitched well for Inland Valley. The Cal State San Bernadino product went five innings, allowed five hits, and two earned runs. His only mistake was a two-run homer by the Sentinels Darron Teson in the top of the fourth.
The Bucs have now lost two in a row. They return to action on Sunday at home against Arroyo Seco.
