The Inland Valley Pirates (4-6-1, 3-1) picked up a hard earned road victory 4-3 over the South Bay Sliders Thursday night at El Camino College.

The Pirates fell behind 2-0 in the second inning, and trailed by that score until the fourth inning.

In the fourth, Jahshua Jones knocked in Mario Micketti to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Jacob Blackiston scored the tying run in the sixth.

Quinn Cooper provided the go-ahead RBI in the seventh and the Pirates tacked on one more run on a Blackiston RBI.
