The Bucs season comes down to one game after losing 6-5 to Arroyo Seco on Saturday night.
Inland Valley and the Sentinels will meet Sunday in Pasadena with the winner clinching the final playoff spot.
Arroyo Seco got off to a quick start scoring three runs in the top of the first. Brock Bell’s two-run homer was the big blow.
The lead didn’t last long as the Bucs scored five times in the bottom of the third.
Aaron McCann hit his first home run of the season, a three blast to right.
Arroyo Seco tied it in the fifth and it remained 5-5 into the top of the ninth.
Bucs reliever Adrian Guzman retired the first two hitters of the inning. Then Brock Bell reached on a throwing error by Logan Gopperton. Clean up hitter Andres Kim made Inland Valley pay with an opposite field RBI single to make it 6-5.
First pitch on Sunday is 6:05. If the Bucs win they will host the first game of the playoff series against Palm Springs on Tuesday night.
