The OC Bucs (1-1, 1-1) fell 5-4 to the NLB Waves on Sunday afternoon at Crean Lutheran High School.
The Bucs got off to a quick 3-0 lead in the first as Nick Reeser ripped an RBI base hit and Anthony Moreno knocked him in with an RBI single.
The Waves plated three in the third to knot it up at 3, and took a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning.
The Bucs answered with a run in the seventh to tie it at 4. Reeser added his second RBI of the day scoring Aaron Torres, but the Waves tallied one final run in their final at bat in the eighth to come away with the tough fought victory.
