The Buccaneers (9-19-1, 3-11) beat the East LA Dodgers 6-4 Wednesday afternoon at Whittier Christian High School.
Jayson De La Pena was superb, tossing five innings and striking out two, while allowing no runs.
Miles Ryan, Kevin Riley, Michael Smith and Bryce Brooks each had two hit days.
Brooks and Ryan ripped two RBI’s apiece. Smith added another RBI.
Ryan, Riley and Smith all scored once as well. The other three runs were scored by Tanner Thibodeau, Brendan Campbell and Johnny Juarez.
