The Buccaneers (8-19-1, 3-11) won with late inning heroics by Tanner Thibodeau on a game-wining two-run triple in the eighth.
Inland Valley defeated AOS Baseball 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.
The Bucs jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the third inning on an RBI single by Miles Ryan scoring Diego Cortes.
AOS answered with one run in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to grab a 3-1 lead.
The Bucs fought back with a five-run eighth inning.
Mbusi Hlatshwayo was hit by a pitch. Diego Cortes pinch-ran for him and wound up scoring on a wild pitch to make it 3-2.
Ryan singled and Rudy Casarez reached on an error setting the stage for Thibodeau with two runners in scoring position trailing by a single run. Thibodeau promptly blasted his two-run triple down the right field line scoring Ryan and Casarez as the Bucs regained the lead 4-3.
Kevin Riley added an RBI double scoring Thibodeau. He scored later in the inning on a wild pitch.
Daniel Diaz (1-2) earned his first victory of the season tossing the final three innings and striking out five, while allowing one unearned run.
Nathaniel Acosta got the tough no decision after hurling six innings and striking out nine, while allowing no earned runs.
