Bucs Tie Legends

bucs gm 17The Buccaneers (6-15-1, 3-9) tied the Long Beach Legends 1-1 in a game called after 10 innings due to darkness on Tuesday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.

Micah Beyer was flawless, pitching six innings while allowing no hits and striking out three.

The Legends struck first in the seventh to grab a 1-0 lead.

The Bucs answered in the ninth with an RBI sacrifice fly by Nathaniel Acosta scoring Anthony Seminaris to knot it up at 1-1.

Inland Valley got its first two men on base in the 10th, but couldn’t plate the game-winning run.
