Bucs Suffer Heartbreaking Loss in Palm Springs

bucs gm 9The Inland Valley Bucs (3-9, 2-5) suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 setback against the Palm Springs Power (13-1, 2-1) Tuesday night at Palm Springs Stadium.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning, the Bucs fought back to take a 3-1 lead.

All three runs were scored in the fourth. Jack Spohn, Rudy Casarez and Gerardo Ramirez all scored. Mbusi Hlatshwayo and Miles Ryan ripped one RBI apiece.

The Power cut the deficit in half in the fifth to make it 3-2 before scoring two more runs in the sixth.

Jacob Cage had a solid outing on the mound pitching five innings, while striking out six and only allowing one earned run.
