Pirates Take Game 1 In Inland Valley Showdown

Fullerton, Calif.-  The Inland Valley Pirates faced off against familiar opponents in the Inland Valley Bucs. The Pirates would run away with game 1 of “The battle of Inland Valley” by a score of 5-1

The Pirates pitching staff did a phenomenal job hold the Bucs to only three hits and one earned run. Nick Esparza got the nod and would carry the staff. In three innings of work, he allowed one hit and zero runs. Pat Showalter, Darien Lopez, and Ashton Goddard combined for 10 Ks, 1ER, and 2 hits.
