DJ Peters a Dodger

Former Inland Valley Buccaneer DJ Peters of Western Nevada College has been selected in the fourth round of the MLB Draft by the hometown Los Angeles Dodgers.

Peters set multiple Bucs’ single season records in 2015 including his .438 BA, .529 OBP, .589 SLG and 32 hits.

Peters is the fourth former Inland Valley player to hear his name in the draft joining Kyle Garlick, Christian Kelley and Cody Ponce.

The Inland Valley Baseball Association wishes Peters the best in the future and is eager to see more names called.
